Rehabilitation

The goal of Garfield Medical Center's Rehabilitation Program is to provide an intensive therapy program to maximize patient recovery.

Our team is committed to the following:

We are a team.
We are compassionate and seek to empower our patients and their families.
We are responsible, concerned, and sensitive to our patients' needs and goals.
We are a source of education and support for the community.

Garfield's board-certified and licensed staff consists of

Physical Therapists
Occupational Therapists
Recreational Therapists
Speech Language Pathologists

The Rehabilitation Department operates with a patient-focused care philosophy and approach. Each patient is assessed for their specific rehabilitation needs, goals are established, and a rehabilitation program is established to ensure the best possible outcome.

Each therapist is a well-trained professional in his or her fields of expertise. As in all of Garfield's departments, the rehabilitation staff speaks a variety of languages to meet multicultural patients' needs. Interpretation services are also available.
